Supporting Parents in Promoting Early Learning: Early Learning Partnership Project

The ELPP ran from October 2006 to March 2008 and worked through voluntary sector agencies to encourage / develop practices which could help parents of children aged one to three (who were at risk of learning delay) to engage with their children's learning. Focused on parents who might be unaware of how to support their children in this way. Examined processes and outcomes of implementation to offer guidance for the development of similar initiatives and to gather some indication of whether such an intervention can change how parents support their children's learning.
