Share is a community development programme that is aimed at increasing parents' involvement with their children's education at home. The materials produced are intended to improve the quality of parents' involvement in their children's home education. Share also aims to advance pupils' learning while, at the same time, enhancing and recognising parents' skills and knowledge through an accreditation scheme. In 2002, Share extended its work to include the Foundation Stage, and a pilot programme using newly developed materials was launched. The evaluation ran from October 2002 until March 2004.
